The Plight of the
Christian Patriot

by Jay Merrell

(Thoughts To Ponder #4)

"For he that is called in the LORD, being a servant, is the LORD's freeman; likewise
also he that is called, being free, is Christ's servant. Ye are bought with a price; be
not ye the servants of men."
--1 Corinthians 7:22-23--

The freeman is bought with a price, that price being the blood shed by The Savior of Israel. This is the valuable consideration for the contract to abide by the laws of YHVH-God. You need only accept the terms to enter into the contract and receive the benefits. Here are the terms:

"If a man love me, he will keep my words: and my Father will love him, and we will come unto him, and make our abode with him." --Jesus Christ, in John 14:23)--

"Here is the patience of the saints: here are they that keep the commandments of YHVH-God, and the Faith of Jesus Christ." --Revelation 14:12--

These passages are a voluntary agreement between the followers and The Master. As you can see, there is a requirement, an offer, an offeror, consideration and benefits. These are the essential ingredients of a contract. Any contract must be complied with to reap the benefits. The plight of the Christian patriot is that men want His (our God's) obedience to temporal contracts which will ultimately suspend the benefits of the contract with The Master.

Contract and contract law are nothing new as we find in the first book of the Scripture: the covenant between YHVH-God and Noah (Genesis 6:18), and between YHVH-God and Abraham (Genesis 15:18). The Old Testament is, in fact, an enumeration of the terms of the contract (the Pentateuch) and a history of the people who acceptied its terms. In this light, the Bible is a contract in YHVH-God's Law, and a record of benefits derived from its observance, and the penalties of judgment lodged against those who breach the terms. In the Old Testament, the covenant (contract) was offered to a people and the offeror was the "God of Israel."

Jesus the Christ brought a new covenant which expanded the offer to all men [i.e. Adamites] and changed the concept of the "God of Israel" to AYHVH-God the Father,' a God no longer for nationality [per se], but available to all men [i.e. Adamites] as a personal Father, God figure. Jesus Christ did not abrogate (break) the original covenant, for the original was an everlasting covenant (2 Samuel 23:5; 1 Chronicles 16:17; Psalms 105:10; Isaiah 24:5, 54:10, 55:3; Hebrews 13:20). Jesus Christ brought a new covenant (Jeremiah 31:31-34; Matthew 26:28; Romans 11:27; Hebrews 8:8-10, 12:24) that binds all [Adamites] who accept the terms. Covenants and vows are indeed binding (Numbers 30:2; Deuteronomy 23:21; Job 22:27; Psalms 50:14, 76:11; Ecclesiastes 5:4; Matthew 5:33) and once entered upon, cannot be abrogated. Covenant breakers are not treated with impunity (Romans 1:31-32; Daniel 11:32; Amos 1:9, et seq; Zechariah 11:10, et seq; Malachi 2:8-10).

The covenant prepared by the Founding Father of this nation was also to be perpetual as is evidenced by the enabling clause of the Articles of Confederation, and as expanded by the "more perfect union" of the Constitution for the united States. Our Founding Fathers were devout men and formed our constitutions upon the laws of YHVH-God and the covenants He made. To enjoy the benefits we must abide by the terms of the foundation, which is Scripture, and we must ensure the constitutional provisions are performed by those bound by its operation.

Today there are numerous provisions of law which are outside YHVH-God's Law and the provisions of our constitutions whichBif complied withBconstitute breaking of YHVH-God's covenant. To do so would suspend the benefits of living God's Law. The root and foundation of these strangers to the covenant is the system of usury that is currently practiced in this land in the Federal Reserve System, which violates YHVH-God's covenant (Exodus 22:25; Leviticus 25:36-37; Deuteronomy 23:19-20; Nehemiah 5:7-9; Psalms 15:5; Proverbs 28:8; Isaiah 24:2; Jeremiah 15:10; Ezekiel 18:8-17, 22:12; Matthew 25:27; Luke 19:23). In Isaiah chapter one, the prophet detail the violations of the covenant; the first enumerated is that "Thy silver has become dross..." This is the debasing of the monetary system which led to the other violations enumerated, such as "Your princes are companions of thieves (usurers), everyone loveth gifts and followeth after rewards (welfare, etc.)." The cause of the fatherless and widow are destroyed by a Social Security system foisted upon them by our princes (government) and then diluted by inflation.

The operation of this system of usury permeates many levels and aspects of our society today, and must be refuted and contested by the friends of Jesus Christ. An example is the Social Security system, which gives rise to the obligation to the Income Tax. Most licensing schemes conducted by way of state statutes are based upon this syetem and are directly tied to the Federal Reserve through the Uniform Commercial Code.

All these systems are contracts in limited liability and are international law of maritime jurisdiction, as insurance is a maritime contract by definition. "The law of limited liability" was enacted by Congress as a part of the maritime law of the United States (Bouvier's Law Dictionary, p. 2093). In the maritime jurisdiction there is no such thing as "rights issues" since rights exist only in the common law jurisdiction protected by our constitutions. A contract of insurance abrogates your standing in a common law court and limits your redress to the courts of contract where the only issues to be decided are the terms of the contract and adherence thereto. In the maritime law you need not be at sea for the jurisdiction to attach (to you). If the subject matter is cognizable in maritime, that jurisdiction adjudicates the issue. Maritime includes bills, notes, checks, credit and contracts of insurance. [See Wall. (US) 1, 19 L. Ed. 870)].

"And the ground is made stronger by the consideration, that the right of the trial by jury is preserved by the Constitution in all suits at common law, where the value in controversy exceeds twenty dollars; and by the statute, this right is excluded in all cases of admiralty and maritime jurisdiction." [Delovio vs. Boit, 2 Gallison 400, (1915)].

THIS is the core of the drive by the "Patriot Community," where the Common Law of the Scripture has been supplanted by international contracts in the civil law jurisdiction of Admiralty. These internationalists are strangers to our land and the covenant protected by our constitutions.

"The common law is absolutely distinguished from the Roman or Civil Law systems." [People vs. Ballard, 155 N S 2d 59].

One of the principle causes of the American Revolution was the extension of these Admiralty courts into the Common Law jurisdictions of the colonies (see the Declarations and Resolves of the First Continental Congress), and as was stated by Judge Baldwin:

"It is also needless to combat the proposition, that the civil jurisdiction of the Admiralty was more expanded in the colonies than in the mother country." [Bains vs. The Schooner James and Catherine, Federal Cases 576, at 549, (1832)].

Today's patriot cannot make any covenant with the strangers in our land, for to do so abrogates the promise of the rights granted by our Creator. You cannot contract into this alien jurisdiction and still honor the covenant with YHVH-God. It is the intention of most "patriots" that I know to disconnect themselves from these strangers in our land --Acts 2:40; Ephesians 5:11; 2 Corinthians 6:16-18; 2 Thessalonians 3:1-6--.

Disconnecting oneself from those who practice unrighteousness is repentance. That is what the LORD Jesus Christ charged us to do, and that is what we will do --Matthew 4:17; Luke 13:3-5; Revelation 2:5,16,22, 3:3, 19-22--.

"And I heard another voice from heaven, saying, >Come out of her, my people, that ye be not partakers of her sins, and that ye receive not of her plagues'." --Revelation 18:4--.
